HAZARDOUS GOODS OFFLOADS
We have been notified by the Dover Harbour Board, that owing to updated Health & Safety regulations, the FSA are no longer allowed to accept Hazardous offloads at the Western Docks. Our other alternative sites at Whitfield & Lydden just outside of Dover are also in the same situation.
This means that we are unable to offer any solutions for vehicles arriving in Dover that require a Hazardous consignment to be offloaded, alternative locations will need sort out by the haulier themselves.
ROADWORKS ON FREJUS TUNNEL
Notification has been received from the Tunnel du Frejus of works taking place during weeks 31 to 34 which will lead to part-time overnight closures in either direction during that period and a system whereby vehicles will transit during one hour and there will then be a delay of one and a half hours in that direction while vehicles transit from the opposite direction. These closures will take place between 22.30 and 06.15 on the relevant Mondays to Fridays and between 21.30 and 06.15 at weekends.
These works will take place on the following dates:

LATE CANCELLATION / NO-SHOW FEES
Finnlines have introduced a new charge for late booking cancellations or for vehicles not turning up for bookings on the Travemunde to Helsinki route, this is with immediate effect. This will help them to control the flow of traffic on this route, as vehicles not turning up has caused them a big problem.

Stena Line have introduced a SECA Surcharge on their North Sea ferry services. The charges set out below are valid until 01/07/2010
