BIFA, the British International Freight Association, is the UK’s leading body representing the UK international freight services industry and Harbour Shipping have been proud to be associated with them for many years.
Through 2024 and into 2025 the British government and other authorities are introducing multiple changes to the customs arrangements operating for freight at UK ports. Some of the dates for these are tentative and subject to alteration, and BIFA have produced a helpful aide-memoire for the planned changes.
