New procedures for shipments into The Netherlands

From 4 October 2021, Dutch customs have implemented new, stricter procedures and enforcements for importing goods into the Netherlands, called the CVB.

If you do not submit accurate information to Dutch customs, at the correct time, your shipments will be held at the terminal and not allowed to leave.


This will affect shipments to The Netherlands from Harwich, Killingholme, Hull and Teesport

CVB will not affect Transit shipments (T1, T2) starting from UK, Northern Ireland or The Republic of Ireland.
